Jonathan has significant experience of providing IT and desktop support, within both small local companies and major international corporations.Earlier roles include IT Support Manager of Redemtech Inc and IT Executive of Tchibo Coffee International. Jonathan has several IT qualifications and joined us as Operations Director of Instep Consultancy in 2011, becoming Managing Director towards the end of 2012, Jonathan oversees every aspect of the business and works very closely with our clients ensuring we can tailor a solution to them. He is passionate about providing exceptional customer service and client satisfaction and will not settle for less. Outside of working non-stop to keep track of the 24/7 business operations, he appreciates good food, home entertainment and vacations in the US. Jonathan is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
Alex has been with the business for over 4 years, working as both a support agent and Technical Manager. In 2012 he became Operations Director, where he works on creating and improving our processes and procedures, running the day to day operations of the business and is also overseeing our internal training programme. Outside of this work, Alex is also one of our onsite technical managers and specialises in macs and other apple products. He is rapidly grasping the new direction of the business and works on ensuring we deliver what we say we will deliver through precise and detailed reporting analysis. Alex is also Pip the office dog's primary carer. Pip is a 9 year old Jack Russel who is partial to the odd chicken nugget.
Neil joined the team following a successful career as a Quality manager and has an extensive quality control and account management experience. Within Microtechs he is our Client Services Director, managing a number of our corporate clients, providing them with a daily service and target analysis to ensure all service standards are met and excelled. Neil works closely with our clients to ensure our high standards are maintained. He is a keen fair weather golfer and occasionally likes to travel.
Formerly working for Advanced Technologies as a project engineer, Jamal joined Microtechs in April 2010 as first line technical support. He then moved to 2nd line support dealing with the up keep of circa 220 sites all over the UK, dealing with cisco, zyxel, netgear and draytek. Jamal was promoted to Customer Relations Manager in December 2012, where he was managing our team of customer service staff. Since his most recent promotion, Jamal is now also in charge of our processes and procedures. He ensures everyone follows the correct processes and will continually improve and create new ones. Jamal is our office cricket enthusiast participating in local team games and enjoys watching movies.
Savio has been with the business for over 8 years. Working several technical positions before being promoted to Technical Manager in 2012. He is also in charge of all of our Local IT contracts and planning and carrying out site visits for our customers. He is the office “Tech Guru” and offers technical help to any staff member who needs it. Savio is loved by all of our clients and has a unique and warm personality that rubs off on his team. With an outstanding ability to work through any technical problem he is faced with and come up with a solution. Savio was born in Brazil and he has a 1st BA Honours degree.
Lisa works on developing Microtechs proposition in both the UK and in the US. She helps to find solutions and tailor services to meet the requirements of our growing customer base across a number of platforms. Lisa is a BA graduate of Christchurch College University and joined Microtechs early 2013 after having twins. She previously worked at Trinity Mirror as an Account manager and worked as a Video production engineer prior to joining the team.
Jonny joined us at the end of October 2015 as a Project Co-ordinator. From his previous experience as an apprentice, he is looking forward to more responsibility and isn’t afraid to get stuck in the deep end. In his spare time, Jonny enjoys playing Ice Hockey, gaming and socialising.
Chris joined the team back in 2015 as a first line agent. After progressing to the Supervisor role in a short space of time, Chris was promoted to Service Delivery Manager in 2016. His main role is to maintain a high level of service for our clients and managing the agent’s performance on the helpdesk. With many years’ experience in retail sector, Chris has grasped a high level of customer service skills. He is a friendly character and always has a listening ear to an employee’s needs.

Amy joined Microtechs growing Solutions team in the summer of 2016. She has quickly demonstrated her passion for customer service and multi-tasking, becoming an integral part of the team. Amy previously had experience in administration and sales. Outside of Microtechs, Amy is a keen petrol head and can often be found at a race circuit - not cheering on the drivers but behind the wheel of her track car.
John "Meatball” joined Microtechs in the winter of 2015, after working in various customer service roles including Water sports holidays in Ibiza . With a passion for great customer service, John works helping all of our customers, with various different technical issues that require immediate response. Outside of his Microtechs role, John enjoys a good gym workout as a keen ammeter bodybuilding enthusiast and spending time with his family.
Kirstie joined Microtechs in late 2015 as a Solutions Executive, after gaining experience within various different sales roles. Utilising many different marketing tools and events, Kirstie helps to expand Microtechs client base including local companies looking for IT outsourcing solutions and other IT companies looking to enhance their offerings through our white label services. She also assists with keeping all of the company’s marketing activity up to date. She also works closely with our clients and training our new team members.
Nick has progressed through a number of roles since he joined Microtechs 1st line support team back in spring 2015. He continues to offer excellent customer service when helping our end users resolve the many issues they face day to day. Outside of Microtechs, Nick enjoys spending time with his young family, doing sports and socialising.
Sinead joined us in October 2015 as a Solutions Executive, after gaining experience within various different sales roles. Utilising many different marketing tools and events, Sinead helps to expand Microtechs client base including local companies looking for IT outsourcing solutions and other IT companies looking to enhance their offerings through our white label services. She also assists with keeping all of the company’s marketing activity up to date. Sinead is a friendly, creative, confident and reliable individual with a vast amount of experience to offer within the Company she works as an enthusiastic team player and motivator who is sales driven.
Chris was Microtechs first apprentice. He was able to learn exceptionally quickly and became a fully-fledged Technician in the first quarter of 2014. Since then he has been promoted to our Technical Manager. Within this role, Chris supervises the Tech-Team and ensures that the Technical Operations centre runs smoothly. Chris has done numerous work experiences within a technical environment over the last few years. He enjoys playing rugby in his spare time.
Michal joined Microtechs in 2015, as a 1st line support agent for our call centre. After demonstrating a great passion for IT and customer service, he has recently been promoted to the technical team. He works on helping any of our customers with various different technical issues that require immediate response.
Nathan joined Microtechs growing support team early 2016. He is currently on an apprenticeship scheme and is enjoying the new skills and experience he is acquiring on the Technical desk. Nathan enjoys gaming in his spare time along with watching films.
Oliver joined Microtechs early 2016, as an apprentice. Working with the technical team, he works on helping any of our customers with various different technical issues that require immediate response. He has demonstrated a great passion for IT and customer service. Oliver is a cricket enthusiast, and will frequently be found bowling from the Pavilion end or working on his 'follow through' in his spare time.
